About SEA Workshop

Workshop on Sensors, Electronics and Emerging Applications (SEA) is a three-day annual workshop focused on selected areas of sensorics, featuring invited speakers and live demonstrations from academia and industry, PhD students, postdoc researchers and end-users from various fields.

Program

The program consists of longer talks covering emerging trends in sensorics or tutorial style lectures of interest to wider research audience, shorter presentations on recent results of both junior and senior researchers, and live demonstrations of academia and industry partners. The topics and speakers are selected by international technical committee. The workshop is organized to provide an interactive format that enables effective networking and exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of sensing systems and their applications. As such, all talks are given in a single-track format, the paper submission is not required, and social program includes joint meals and a short trip. The paperless format of the workshop enables speakers to present and audience to grasp a broader perspective of the research field.

Topics

Topics for SEA Workshop are in all areas of sensors and sensing technologies with the specific topics being chosen annually by the technical committee. In the last editions of the workshop, the program was focused non-exclusively on the topics in ultrasound and electromagnetic sensors, MEMS sensor technology, networked sensor systems and low power or autonomous sensor electronic systems.
